in solo and ensemble, my solo was a class 1 (the hardest of all) and i got a 1 (the best ranking of all)...on my duet with my BFF laura, we got a 1, which was amazing....laura also got 1's on everything like her clarinet solo, flute solo, clarinet ensemble etc. she also got an outstanding award..which i didn't get :-( but that's ok. today was reagan (high school) band tryouts...i think i did really well considering scales aren't really my thing.....i only had a few mess ups.....but that's to be expected!
by the way, the picture is of a clarinet and flute!!! (if your not a band geek, and you didn't know that...) one more thing, make sure you check my NEW random question of the month at the bottom of the screen!
